Bad Neighbors History

Lawson, John, and Mike jam together for the first time - September 15, 2001
Formed after a backyard jam session in 2001 in Hidden Valley, Washoe County just outside of Reno, the Bad Neighbors band has gone on to play many of the major venues available to music fans in northern Nevada. Some of their original compositions have received local airplay, as well. The band member's rock roots go way back to the 60's, their formative years as musicians, and a huge influence on their sound today. The bands' first official gig together was a benefit for a high school softball team at a now defunct neighborhood bar and grille.
Bad Neighbors have been fortunate to have a chance to play at some pretty exciting spots and events over the last couple of years, including:
Great Basin Brewery
(Including the Sparks Farmer's Market and the Rib Cook Off)
